Once again you heard it here first (I owe someone several beers) and now it’s public: Berkant Gotken is back with MTU and may actually kick a ball for the first team under a short term deal. This time around I think it’s a win-win situation for the Quilins: if Berkant gets his mind and body right then we get a very high quality forward who still isn’t old, if he doesn’t then we don’t lose huge amounts of cash.
The transfer rumour mill has us forwarding offers to Del Piero and Nesta. Personally, I don’t like the idea of either signing and I wish we’d learn our lesson.
Meanwhile, BEC Tero drew with Buriram United last night, making us unconditional league leaders.
