Procurer to BEC Tero

There is little to report from yesterday's game except that we lost 0-1 in a meaningless game, played mostly a reserve side and had no coach as he is still in England. Here is some bigger news.

If Robbie does go to the India tournament, I will stop attending MTU games until he leaves us. I guess I'll watch Tero in the meantime but I'll always be an MTU fan.

Muang Thong United's Founder Robert Procureur Joins BEC Tero

After six stunningly successful years as founder and technical director of Thai powerhouse Muang Thong United, Robert Procureur joins 2001 champions BEC Terro today as General Manager and Sports Director. Under his guidance "The Quilins" achieved a world football first by winning four consecutive titles as his team powered through the second and first division before being crowned Premier League Champions in 2009 and 2010.

From those early games played in front of less people than on the pitch, to this afternoon's FA Cup Final watched by 26,000 fans, Robert's uncompromising insistence on the highest professional standards have helped drive the development of Thai football. Also a passionate man, he fires up his teams whilst always acknowledging the loyal fans. His wide scouting network and ability to spot raw talent have been the bedrock of the club's development.
