I knew there was (and still is) a lot going on behind the scenes but it's a relief that these four transfers have been confirmed.
Christian Yao Kouakou - I can find nothing on him (except his possible Facebook profile) other than what other blogs say - he's a former Anderlecht trainee.
Jakkaphan Kaewprom (profile) comes from BEC Tero. He plays left sided midfield. A replacement for the outgoing Hattaporn?
Paitoon Nontadee (picture) - Twenty two year old midfielder. Scored four goals for Chula United in their doomed 2009 TPL campaign. As an indication of the scarcity of resources for Thai footie fans, even a search for this player's name in Thai turns up very, very little.
Amorn Thummanam (profile in Thai) Twenty six year old forward. Previously played for (the widely unpopular) Pattaya United and before that, Thai Airways. Has been involved in pro football since he was fourteen.
Three other players have also arrived but are expected to join the youth ranks. Robert Procurer has indicated more transfers will be made, some for relatively big money. It's brave move and a necessary one. Next year's TPL will be far tougher than the one just gone and the squad will be required to play more games.
Welcome to all the new players.
