  3. The fact he doesn't know the name of the division in which his team plays kinda says it all.

  5. I to am a Buriram PEA supporter and watch games home and away and I can see that supporters of the other top sides in the premiership are getting a bit concerned that next season Buriram will be the team. This season we have taken 4 points from the champions elect MTUFC,6 points from BGFC and 3 points from Chonburi and we still have to visit Chonburi surely this is not all LUCK?.Results speak louder than words.
As Mark mentioned in his letter we are the Chelsea of the Thai Premier League is this the reason for all the snide comments about Buriram PEA?.
Good Luck to MTUFC in the AFC Cup.

  8. Anon, please try to keep the focus on the football, thanks.

A Farmer, nobody says it is all luck but to be champs you must win all games, not just the big ones. As you said yourself, results speak loudest.

There was clearly some suspicious behaviour from the ref in the Buriram Vs Thong game and the goal was outrageous. If Buriram fans care about what others think - and if they didn't, they wouldn't speak out - then they have to face up to this.

  9. I just wanna say, we MTUTD fans are focusing on today, cant say that we're goin to be the champion of next Thai Premier League season....

It's too far if we are thinking of next season but i can say we are closing to the champion of this season....

There are so many factors comin in and out, such as the new players or the goin out players....

Good luck to ya'll in Buriram, just respect us as we have given it to you....

  10. ...and when he becomes pm he will send all supporters from other clubs to a place where we will sing the Jailhouse Rock or what ;-)
Joke aside, hey Mark, please keep modest and stop boasting with titles you still have to win.
What will happen if big boss man stops to give you money for the away games???
You know, we all besides PEA (and Buriram FC) don´t take money but give our hearts. We don´t need advisors like you which club we have to follow. At least from a fan who takes money to support... So please let´s keep it fair and enjoy the rest of the season. We have to live with a club like PEA and of course this makes things interesting.
@ A Farmer: it´s not your self-claimed Chelsea-thing that people dislike PEA. It´s more the behavior of the club, how the supporters act inside the stadiums and that the Refs often prefer PEA. Although its stupid for me to compare Thai-clubs with other clubs especially from the EPL (ok Thais like to flirt with this idea) I tend more to compare PEA with Berlusconis AC Milan.

  11. to greg i see you at the thai port v chonburi game if you are the loyal muangthong fan you say you are why was you not attending the home game with osotspa sariburi m150.i myself have not missed a pea game all season including cup games and the same with my friends and we all will be making the trip to pijit in the toyota cup 2nd leg to see the pea go through to the next round, maybe we will meet in the next round and you can buy us all a beer, don't suppose you will come to buriram twice in one season.greg is it true you are not going to the army game this weekend what kind of supporter are you, maybe that is something for you to think about,or maybe inside you are a pea fan trying to get out and tell the world only joking good luck for the rest of the season i am sure the championship is yours, look forward to the battle next season.good football and good support i am sure we can all agree on that.

  12. @ mark: you didn´t miss any pea game? so you must be a rich man now with all the money from your boss...

  13. up to you,i don't understand why people have a problem with this,it's just a little to help, come on have you never helped anyone.surely at the end of the day it's people going to watch FOOTBALL that matters i think that's what we all want? from a very loyal and unpaid fan.

  14. Greg,So you thought that the ref was a bit dubious in the PEA game against MTUFC? We to have had a ref in our game against Bangkok Utd who was strange.Buriram player away from the defence goalkeeper to beat went around him and was pulled down,Ref awards a penalty but does not show the keeper a Red card as he should have done by the letter of the law and you have guessed what happens next the keeper saves it and goes on to save everything. This was our only defeat of the season in the league so far.
So your team are not the only side to suffer at the hands of dodgy referees.

    ReplyDelete
  15. unpaid? good joke, have all the laughs on your side... so you give back the pocket money (300 baht, right?) and pay for the away trips by yourself, ok.
but tell me how could PEA get such an impact amount of supporters without getting paid? for myself i don´t no any club in the world where the fans get paid the away trips... just PEA and BFC. how many would still follow if the money is cut???

  16. If you have ever been to the i-mobile stadium you would have seen it full. The biggest attendance ever in the Thai Premier. Muangman utd brought a coach load. Chonburi had the best away support but there's only a handfull from the others. As for B.PEA, there are hundreds of supporters who make their own way to other stadiums and considering they travel the longest distance ( appart from Sisaget ) it puts fans of other Prem League teams to shame. The people of Buriram are proud of where they come from. Let you in the big mango think what you want. The tide is turning.

  18. Mark, you didn't see me at the TP V Chonburi game! I was at the MTU Vs Saraburi game, see my report above. The reason I'm not going to the Army game is that I have a family commitment I can't get out of and with the time it takes me to get to the stadium, it would be past half-time before I arrived.

A Farmer, I accept there are plenty of poor refs and **usually** these things balance out. However the ref at that game was at another level, has anyone ever seen **three** illegal things about one goal before? It's widely considered at this end that the ref had been "got at" if you know what I mean. When you have someone like Newin at the helm and refs allow offside, fouled and handballed goals all in one, these suspicions will remain. However, Buriram were the better team that day anyway. Next time they may not be.

  19. Anon, the biggest attendance in a TPL game was MTU Vs Chonburi this season.

  20. I was in the i-mobile with MTU and what i saw was that PEA treated us like s...
We announced to be about 500 people and when we arrived we only had space for about maximum 180 people with the police behind us until we made a complainment.
Also I can not see that the circus army puts other supporters into shame just because of the long travel distance and the amonut of people they bring with. Some people have to work and cannot make all ways and they don´t get paid for the away games like PEA supporters. Thats a fact.
TTM supporters have long distances too because some of them still follow them from Bangkok.
I know some of our supporters pay their bosses that they can leave work to watch the matches in the week...
All in all PEA supporters have absolutely no reason to boast. Try to keep modest and see what the future will bring for you. But don´t expect that somebody from outside B will fall in love with you.
@greg: biggest attendance was PEA MTU followed by MTU Chonburi

Yeah, so 'proud' that only 150 of them bothered to watch their local team last year before it became fashionable/profitbale to.

  26. not sure if this is mark, i´ve seen some bigger guys there with "wurstnecks".
anyway when the refs flee from their meal in the hotel after the match where they stay coincidently together with supporters from another club without being attacked nor that they talked to the refs that says it all
